Curated by Tami Katz-Freiman 2017 Venice Biennale Israeli Pavilion
I received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 1999 and in 2003, an MFA from Columbia University.
My husband and I have been running an artist residency every summer in Austria together for 16 years.
My work involves a combination of various media, including installation, painting, drawing, animation, and printing. In terms of content, the objects I work with are everyday objects that occupy my world. I aim to crystalize my daily life and transform these things into new, unknown spaces and experiences for the viewer. In both form and content my work has always responded to the environment I find myself in. An occurrence, a memory, a place or a dream becomes fodder for my work.
