The genesis of ideas and objects is of great interest to me. My research and investigations often focus on human resourcefulness. My artwork intermingles history and science with genuine wonder and curiosity. I am interdisciplinary in my practice, which ranges in techniques of the antiquities (such as Italian buon-fresco) to contemporary and non-traditional techniques (employing motors, and found objects). Often, my sculptures are made from commonly accessible household items and materials. I am inspired by creative thinkers of the past and the ingenuities of the present.
